Residents Join GPS-tracking Research

During the past weeks tudents gathered the mobility patterns of 40 senior residents from the community of Oud Charlois. During 7 days research participants where equipped with GPS-tracking devices.

The tracks (movements) will be imported into the municipal GIS Web to be analyzed. With these recorded tracks the routes, means of travel, time and duration of travel and stay will become visible. Furthermore, this data will be completed with questionnaires, interviews and the input of the advisory board.

The research is initiated by the districts administration, the Service of Social Matters and Employment, housing corporations, health services and other significant stakeholders.

We cordially invite you to join the presentations of the research results on June 18th , 15.00h at the Veldacademie, Grondherendijk 13!
