The municipal Langer Thuis Arragementen features a package of measures for each area to support independent living for senior citizens and people with a disability in Rotterdam. The measures focus on the programme's four action lines: Suitable home, vital network, accessible neighbourhood and clear information. These district arrangements are being developed in all districts of Rotterdam.
Under the Langer Thuis Arrangementen, Veldacademie is responsible for the input of the area-specific knowledge, the implementation of focus groups with residents, chairing talks at professional meetings, visualising the outcomes of meetings and acting as a sparring partner for the design of the process of the Langer Thuis Arrangementen.
