Some 700 visitors to the Zuidplein and its surroundings were questioned in June about the use and appreciation of the outdoor space of the area under development. The fieldwork was carried out in collaboration with 50 students from Techniek College Rotterdam. Surveys were conducted and observations made as part of the regular education. Various students who use the area on a daily basis indicated that after the study they viewed the area and its users differently.
