Veldacademie nominated as "Team Rotterdam 2009"

Veldacademie is proud to announce to be one of the three nominees for the title ‘’Team Rotterdam 2009”. Although the jury, under  presidency of alderman Jantine Kriens, finaly prefered an other candidate this nomination is an important confirmation that we are heading in the right direction!

Team Rotterdam Award

Rotterdam is heading for ‘’area-based development’’’. Therefore cooperations are of the greatest interest. Not only cooperation between area-managers of the local municipality en the account managers of the municipal services, but also the cooperation between other partners in the area, like housing associations, welfare institutes and pro-active inhabitants.

For the sake of stressing the importance of those cooperations the Team Rotterdam Award elections are erected. An award for a group of professionals together working in one area, based on the process of ‘’area based development’’ showing a special contribution, and together achieving appealing results. The award is specially meant for stressing the achievements of local workers in the area.
